The organization’s dedication to this cause is unwavering,” remarks Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. OPI is proud to join with Susan G. Komen for the fifth consecutive year to offer Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts. By launching our first-ever Pink Shatter coat, we hope this exciting new textured hue will generate lots of awareness for this cause.”

Each bottle of Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts has a special pink-ribbon tag and pink cap wrap to call attention to breast cancer awareness. OPI will also be making its annual donation of $25,000 to Komen for the Cure. Pink Shatter coat contains no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and it also features OPI’s exclusive ProWide Brush for the ultimate in application.

and 1 coat of Seche Vite Top Coat

Here is Instinct in the sun

Here is a close up of Instict, you can really

SPARITUAL Running with Wolves + China Glaze Tarnished Gold Crackle

Hey guys Gabbz here,

Sorry It's been sooooo long since my last post.
It's been a crazy couple weeks.
Today I bring to you a very beautiful color from SPARITUAL. The color I will be showcasing is called Running with wolves. This color is from one of there new collections coming out fall 2011. It's a really pretty copper color. Reminds me of a penny. I can't tell you how many compliments I got. My mom already said it's going in her collection lol

Onto the pics.....

Inside with flash
I used 1 coat China Glaze Base Coat, 2 Coats Running with Wolves
and 1 coat Seche Vite Top Coat

This is such a nice color and you can honestly get away
with just applying 1 coat.

Then I just got my new China Glaze Metal Glaze polishes
and wanted to apply some over this

Here I used China Glaze Tarnished Gold Metal Crackle

The above picture is without a top coat

The below picture is with 1 coat of Seche Vite

So what do you think? This was my first time using SPARITUAL and I loved the polish. There will be more from them in the future. I really like how it looked with the crackle over it, then again I'm a big fan of the shatter/crackle trend. I did get all but the silver crackles and will feature those later as well. So have you tried any of the metal crackles? If so, what's your favorite combo?

Sally Hansen Insta-Smooth Hair Removal Pods - Review

Hey everyone! Kourtney here AGAIN...

Today I have for you Sally Hansen's Insta-Smooth Hair Removal Pods. Now I hate having hair on my upper lip and shaving it seems so, I don't know, manly LOL And I hate taking bandaids off so waxing is out of the question too...So when I saw a fellow blogger whom I adore called BeautyBesties review this product I just had to try it out for myself.

So when I received the pods I immediately gave them a whirl. The application is so simple. All you do is bend each end of the pod until they are touching and the hair removal cream comes up through onto the applicator. You leave it on for about 8 minutes or less (although I prefer the 8 minutes) and then wipe it off with a wet cloth.

The first thing I noticed about this after applying it was the smell. It had a sulfur smell which I had in my nose for over an hour after I took the cream off. Thank goodness I don't have anyone kissing on me haha! Other than that these worked like a charm on me. I didn't have to use another one for over a week! I was shocked. It's easy and painless. I took a few pictures in case our lovely followers wanted to try this out, that way you know what to look for and expect.

This is what you should look for. They cost $9.99 And they come 6 in a package.

The applicator is right in the middle.

You just bend them like so...

So overall I liked this product and would definately use it again :)

**This was provided to me for my 100% honest review by Sally Hansen.**

Revlon Just Bitten - Victorian

Hey everyone! Kourtney here :) Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!

So I am still on my True Blood high and I have for you today the Revlon Just Bitten lip stain. I'm a virgin to the lip stains of the world but I decided to give this a go because Revlon is one of my favorite brands. I went to Walmart with my Mom to pick up my medicine and I decided to check out Revlon's section. I had trouble picking a color! I finally ended up picking Victorian which is a bright mauve color. So onto pictures!!

So I like how they did the "Just Bitten" part in what I call the Twilight font lol I'm weird that way

So this lip stain is just like a marker and feels like a marker too. Definately something I'm not used to but it makes for easy application.

What I didn't know, or didn't pay attention to the commercial, was that this is a double ended lip product. The other end is a lip balm which I applied after applying the lip stain. It kind of just locks it in.

See it's a bright mauve color and it's not too jarring when you wear it. You know how you see those pale pale people (like me) who wear the brightest color on their lips. Nope this was a great color.

Now this picture I didn't plan haha! I went to take off what I swatched on my hand with a makeup removing wipe and I kept scrubbing my hand with it and I still had color left! I thought this part was awesome! It shows you how the color lasts.

So overall I like this product and I would definately recommend it!! I plan on getting more colors too haha! Can't have just one! Have you tried this product and if so what colors?

OPI Day of Shatter Featuring Teenage Dream

Hey all Gabbz here,

On Wed July 13th OPI had an even on Facebook called OPI Day of Shatter. It was for set to last a couple hours and you could post a picture of the look u were wearing on the event wall. Let me tell you, there were a lot of pictures posted on that wall. Some were the traditional way, a base color under a shatter polish and others were more creative. I really enjoyed looking at all of pictures.

So, naturally I had to do a look to show my love for shatter polish. The look I did wasn't my own creation. I saw this look posted months ago on OPI's fan page by a fan named Margarita Mama. I loved it so much that this will be the second time I recreate this look, but first time featured in blog.

The colors I used for this look were the polished that started it all. I blame this collection for sparking my obsession and the cause of my nail polish collection to grow lol.
The base color I used was Teenage Dream from the Katy Perry collection. This collection I believe came out in January of this year. I made sure I went to ULTA the day it was going to be sold because EVERYONE was after this collection. Any who, back to Teenage Dream, it's a really light pink polish filled with an insane amount of micro glitter and round holo glitter. I LOVE it. Every time I wear this color I catch myself staring at my nails and it puts me in a trance lol. It's amazing!!!

For the shatter I naturally used the Black Shatter polish that was released at the same time as Teenage Dream. I think there were also three other polish in collection but I only got these two and one other called The One That Got Away which a pretty sparkly redish wine color which I will feature in the future.

Ok so on to the pictures...

China Glaze Base Coat, Teenage Dream,
Black Shatter & KleanColor in Pearl Silver

Here is 1 Coat of Teenage Dream under CG Base Coat

and 2 coats of Teenage Dream
(If you want it more opaque, you can add more coats)

Inside with flash

And here is the finished look...
I applied the Shatter diagonally and applied
Pearl silver with a thin brush below the shatter
Once dried I applied 2 coats of Seche Vite Dry fast top coat
Teenage Dream is so gritty I had to use 2 coats
of top coat so that it felt smooth

Here's the look in direct sun

Teenage Dream is soooooooo pretty and oh so sparkly which is why I LOVE this polish. I kind of didn't want to apply shatter but I really do like the end result. I'm not sure if you can find these polishes in stores. I know I've seen them sold online through a couple of etailers. I might have to take a look myself and buy a backup for this polish because I never want to run out. Hope you like this look and thanks for stopping by :)

Sally Hansen HD polish in Lite review

Hey everyone! Kourtney here...Hope your weekend has started off great!

So today I have for you a polish by Sally Hansen. It is a shimmery yellow called Lite. It's almost gold (according to my mom). This was a little on the watery side but nothing I couldn't deal with. I applied to coats after applying a coat of China Glaze's base coat. Two coats was just enough for a beautiful application. It wasn't streaky at all. Took about half an hour to dry though which I wasn't a fan of because I'm an impatient person haha.

Now I love anything that shines so I loved this color! It wasn't a neon bright yellow and it wasn't pale either. It was just right.

I had to add a little something something to it because I just can't handle plain polish LOL So I thought of my younger brother Stevie and how scared he is of bees (seriously he almost busted through the door like a cartoon character when one was in the house, my sister and I couldn't stop laughing). So I used L.A. colors striping polish's in gold and black for the stripes. So it's a glamourous bumblee look haha!!

I love the striping polish's by L.A. Colors. They are so easy to use and dry quickly. Definately recommend these and they are super affordable! You can get them at the Dollar Tree for of course $1! Can't beat that!!

Now I'm still practicing and learning how to use the striping polish's and doing my own designs so this may not be that spectacular to you but for me it's lovely :)

And with that I'm out! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Neon Rainbow Leopard Mani

Gabbz here,

For today's post I wanted to recreate a mani that I saw a long time ago on youtube. I really like watching videos on youtube from different people to get inspiration. It can be watching makeup videos and of course nail related videos lol.

The mani I will be recreating today is from a guru on youtube by the name sayanythingbrooke. I really like watching her videos. The tutorials she makes are pretty and easy to do. If you would like to see it done step by step you can click here to see her tutorial .

I didn't use the same colors Brooke used and you don't have to either. You can use the colors you love and can use as many colors you want too.

So lets get on to my version...

These are the polished I used to recreate the look
China Glaze Purple Panic and Pink Voltage,
Sinful Colors in Irish Green & Neon Melon,
China Glaze Base coat & Seche Vite Top Coat

To stamp the image I used this C-1 black polish
Konad Image Plate M57
and the Konad scraper and double ended stamper

Here's what it looked like before the image was stamped on
I used 2 coats of each color and I 1 coat of Seche Vite

And again, here is the finished look
Once the image was stamped I used 1 coat of Seche Vite
to seal the look

So there you have it. What do you think? What colors would you have used? Do you Konad, or maybe you use another brand of image plates? If so, what your favorite image plate? Leave your comments below :)
